Athletic Hall of Fame

• Any former Berkeley student may be nominated based on their athletic accomplishments on Berkeley varsity sports teams and must:

• • be at least seven years removed from their high school graduation prior to nomination.

  • have a nomination submitted on their behalf detailing their athletic accomplishments.

  • have represented Berkeley positively both as a student and beyond.

• Coaches, administrators, and special supporters of Berkeley Athletics are also eligible for induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame if they:

• • have a nomination submitted on their behalf detailing the special nature of their contributions to Berkeley Athletics.
  • have positively represented Berkeley in the capacity of their nomination for a minimum of five years.

• Persons currently coaching at Berkeley may be considered for induction after 20 years of service in their coaching position.

• Once an official nomination has been submitted, a candidate can be considered for five consecutive calendar years. If a nominee has not been inducted after five years of consideration, the nomination expires. However, a re-nomination may occur at any time.

The deadline for consideration for the 2024 Induction Year is April 15, 2024. The deadline for the 2026 Induction Year will be shared in the future.
