Athletic Hall of Fame

hall of fame, private school

The Berkeley Athletic Hall of Fame has been established to provide a means to recognize the efforts and achievements of various coaches and alumni athletes from Berkeley Preparatory School’s Athletic Program, while reinforcing a sense of history and tradition. The Hall of Fame honors those who, by outstanding achievement in athletics or service to Berkeley Athletics, have made lasting contributions to the school.

A Nomination Committee, headed by the Athletic Director and comprised of long-standing members of the Berkeley coaching staff, will, to the best of their ability, verify athletic records and narrow down the pool of nominees for the Selection Committee. The Selection Committee, headed by the Athletic Director and the Director of Alumni Relations, will select inductees. The Headmaster will approve the final list. Inductions are every other year. See below for a list of past inductees, a Q&A about eligibility and nominations, and the online nomination form.

For additional information about the Berkeley Athletic Hall of Fame, contact Melaney O’Carroll ’84, Athletic Director, by emailing ocarrmel@berkeleyprep.org or calling (813) 885-1673 Ext. 2258.
