Lifetime Giving Societies
Lifetime giving includes all donors who have made a gift to the capital campaign, have confirmed a planned gift to Berkeley, or have a cumulative giving history of $100,000 or more. These are special donors who have made a lasting investment in Berkeley’s future. These gifts have benefitted countless alumni and continue to benefit current and future students. These donors are recognized at special appreciation events and provided reserved parking and priority seating at honors nights and commencement.

Society for Excellence:
Berkeley Fund Annual Giving Society
Donors who make annual gifts totaling $3,500 or more are honored as members of the Society for Excellence. These gifts continue a tradition of annual giving that has a rich history of supporting exceptional faculty, a diverse curriculum, scholarships, the arts, and athletics. These donors are recognized at special appreciation events and provided reserved parking and priority seating at honors nights and commencement.

Young Alumni Leadership Circle:
Alumni Annual Giving Society
The Young Alumni Leadership Circle is a giving society for alumni from the Classes of 2008-2019 and includes membership in the Society for Excellence. Leading by example, these young alumni who fondly remember their alma mater continue to showcase the power of generosity and will inspire the next generation of alumni to follow in their footsteps.

Gold Circle Society:
Berkeley Fund Annual Giving Society
The Gold Circle Society is a distinction honoring current and retired Berkeley faculty and staff members who have made a long-term commitment to Berkeley through their service and philanthropy. Recognition in the Gold Circle Society is extended to current and retired faculty and staff who have given to the Berkeley Fund for at least 10 years consecutively or 15 years cumulatively and who give in the current year. The investment of time, service, and financial support from Berkeley’s own is inspiring for students, parents, and alumni.
True Blue Bucs:
Alumni Annual Giving Society
Each year, alumni give back to Berkeley by supporting scholarships and financial aid for high-achieving students in the Upper Division. The True Blue Bucs Society is a loyal giving club that recognizes and celebrates those alumni who have made annual gifts to Berkeley for at least five years consecutively.
