Middle School Admissions

The application process is completely online and begins with the creation of an account in our Blackbaud online community portal. Once created, a parent or student may submit the application and non-refundable application fee. A checklist will populate after the application is processed where parents and students can manage the application process.

All applicants are required to take the SSAT. This test is used to determine academic readiness for AHA’s curriculum. AHA only accepts one score report per applicant and students are discouraged from taking the SSAT more than once. To learn more about the SSAT and to register for a test, please visit www.ssat.org.

SSAT TESTING DATE AT AHA: Friday, February 10th. Registration requires an access code that will be provided to you in the confirmation email after submitting the application. Academic accommodations not available on this date.

Additional testing options include: Computer-Based SSAT at Home or Computer-Based Testing at a Prometric Testing Center. Academic accommodations available

Upload final report cards from two previous years and the most recent report card from the current year. We do not accept hard copies or emailed academic records. All records must be uploaded by March 1.

An interview is required for prospective Middle School applicants. Once all of the above checklist items are completed, applicants will be permitted to schedule their interview in the portal.
