Upper School Applicants – In order to accommodate all requests for shadow visits, girls may only choose one shadow visit in the fall of their 8th grade year; a traditional Angel for the Day or Angel Showcase Day. Please be sure you read each description carefully before making your selection. Due to the nature of our unique rotating block schedule, we are unable to accommodate specific class or Ambassador requests. In order to register for a shadow visit, an application must first be submitted. A link to register will be available in the checklist tab of the Applicant Portal.
Angel for the Day, 8th Grade Girls
Select Wednesdays in the Fall
This is an invaluable opportunity for young women to experience Holy Angels Upper School by participating in a typical “day in the life” of an Angel! Guests are greeted with a brief overview from the Admissions Team. A sophomore Ambassador is assigned to each visitor for a one-to-one, personal experience. Eighth graders are encouraged to raise their hands and participate in class discussions, labs and group projects. Lunch is a great time for guests to meet their Ambassador’s friends and learn about a variety of clubs and activities that our students participate in. Our Angel for the Day program is a realistic reflection of an AHA student’s schedule and may include tests, quizzes and/or free periods. Students must submit an application in order to register. Registration opens in September.
Angel Showcase Day, 8th Grade Girls

This fun, interactive event allows girls to experience everything that AHA has to offer in small groups of visitors. Groups will be assigned an Ambassador, attend select classes together, meet with current students and faculty, dine in our Student Commons and attend Community Time where they may participate in a club, activity, or special school-wide gathering. This option is also great for students who wish to come with a friend or want to meet 8th graders from other towns. This is a special “no-testing day” and students are guaranteed three uninterrupted classes. Students must submit an application in order to register.
Sneak Peek, 5th Grade Girls

Girls in grade 5 are invited with their parent(s)/ guardian(s) to get a head start learning about all of the wonderful opportunities available at Academy of the Holy Angels Middle School while getting a feel for our dynamic school community! Speak with current AHA students and parents, get a personal tour of our beautiful Middle School campus and “peek in” on classes in action! Light refreshments will be served.
Angel for the Day Junior, 7th Grade Girls

Designed with our 7th grade visitors in mind, this mini program begins with a “meet and greet” and personal tour of our school with an Angel Ambassador who will be their host for the day. Guests will attend one class with their Ambassador where our teachers are excited to involve visitors in class activities but will also respect individual comfort levels. Girls who want to jump in and participate are encouraged to raise their hand and go for it! Selected classes will not include tests so students will enjoy a full uninterrupted class. Registration opens in March.
